PK crossed the Rs. 300 cr mark in 17 days, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan did it in 20 days and Sultan managed the same in 35 days. However, becoming the fastest film to enter the Rs. 300 crore club is Dangal that achieved this milestone within just 13 days of its release. But setting a new record of sorts, Baahubali 2– The Conclusion has managed to rake in a staggering Rs. 327.75 cr in just 10 days of its release. Now becoming in the third fastest film to cross the Rs. 300 cr mark is Tiger Zinda Hai that accomplished this feat in 16 days of its release.
PK saw a release across a whopping 5200 screens while Bajrangi Bhaijaan released across 4500 screens. Sultan, on the other hand, saw a release across approximately 5100 screens worldwide. However, Aamir Khan’s Dangal saw the biggest release with the film hitting a total of 5300 screens (4300 domestic + 1000 overseas). But surpassing the release pattern of Aamir Khan’s Dangal to become the film that enjoyed the widest release is Tiger Zinda Hai that hit a total of 5700 screens (domestic 4600 + overseas 1100)
