Is BOI authentic anymore due to their regular calculation mistake and deduction of footfalls for movies in recent times

I mean i have seen BOI usually post without even reviewing it mostly there are mis calculation in their figures plus recently they are usually decreasing footfalls of many films , does it still make it a reliable source of trade figures.

Yes for me. They do the work all along. The other sites keep the same figures given by the distributors or BOI collects the real figures from the cinemas.

So if they decrease collections or footfalls it's for a reason !

The numbers froms multiplexes are easy to collect but those from small cinemas take time to collect (and that's why figures change up or down by BOI).
