Top Ten First Weeks All Time - JAWAN Leads

Jawan set up a new first week record as it collected around 323 crore nett beating Pathaan by a small margin. It also means Shahrukh Khan has two films to above the 300 crore nett mark in week one and the only male lead to have done that.

The top ten first weeks of all time Nett Boxoffice are as follows.

1. Jawan - 3,22,75,00,000 approx

2. Pathaan - 3,17,06,00,000

3. Gadar 2 - 2,81,87,00,000

4. KGF 2 - 2,50,51,00,000

5. Bahubali 2 - 2,46,47,00,000

6. Sultan - 2,08,99,00,000

7. Tiger Zinda Hai - 2,06,04,00,000

8. War 2,03,39,00,000

9. Sanju - 2,00,16,00,000

10. Dangal - 1,92,38,00,000

 Note : Above mentioned Numbers are Nett figures, Gross numbers will be 21% to 36% higher based on when film released.

Slowed downed a bit after weekend. The business in overseas will make it ATBB . Its business in India will be easily overtaken by many films this decade and it will be just remembered as a successful film like OSO and Ghajni . It won't reach the status of 3i or bajrangi bhaijaan or Dangal , in terms of appreciation.

Its seems like the range right now is 3 to 3,50 Cr FF for the blockbusters not more.
Well we will wait for THE film (maybe Dunki if it clicks like 3I).

Many trade analyst are saying that the films which are clicking are doing more than their normal range and films which are not clicking are getting completely rejected. So going by that equation , I think there will be bigger boxoffice blockbusters in 2020s than 2010s ..I may be wrong .
As u have seen Jawan ,  is jawaan comparable to OSO/Ghajni  in terms of quality? Or is it a notch better

I prefer Jawan but maybe i am biased beacause i was dying to see SRK in a role like this.

Gadar 2 would have crossed dangal footfalls even with just one week solo release easily

Buisness & Appreciation both are different IMO.
Moreover 'Jawan' movie is a mass entertainer in the line of Dabaang, Sultan etc.. with extra dosage of quality & message which can reach to maximum audience in the form of SRK.

Gadar 2 would have easily crossed the 300 crore mark as mentioned in the article and would have been the highest first week collections but srk is lucky that u can say there is speculation that pathan didnt touch the 500 cr mark and collections are fake although it is close to that mark jawan will struggle to beat gadar 2 footfalls which is the biggest hit of bollywood since dangal that too in clash with omg 2 and jailer
