Looks like Yash Raj Films is going all out to sign on the biggest stars in Bollywood for their upcoming projects. After signing Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, they have now reportedly pencilled in Hrithik Roshan for one of their upcoming films. Of course, YRF hasn’t confirmed anything as yet. But rumours are strong that Hrithik is doing YRF’s next.

According to an online portal, Hrithik Roshan might be seen in YRF’s next, which will be a thriller and will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. Buzz is that the actor has liked the script and will soon sign on the dotted line. According to the report, the thriller is based on real-life events where Hrithik will play a whistle-blower, who exposes a Godman. If this is true, we’re surely excited. We also hear that YRF will organise a huge event on September 27,  to commemorate late Yash Chopra’s birthday, and will announce all their upcoming projects on that day. Come September 27, and we will know if Hrithik has signed on the film.

Incidentally, Hrithik’s last film was War also with YRF, which did huge numbers at the box office.

If so then it will keep him busy before Krrish 4 happens. Heard about a rumour of him doing Angoor remake with Rohit Shetty who's been wanting do this film for a long time. I don't see it happening as Golmaal 5 is confirmed and Ajay will have dates in two years time.

"According to the report, the thriller is based on real-life events where Hrithik will play a whistle-blower, who exposes a Godman."

If this is true, then get ready for "Boycott Hrithik Roshan". This movie will get as much negative publicity as PK and OMG got.

Anyway, good to see some news about HR finally signing a film. Heard reports about Krrish 4 being pushed and him planning to do a light comedy film. Might be Angoor.

The first part of what you said worried me too. These days agenda driven nationalism works and this concept will fetch a lot of negativity

Add to the fact about Aamir's visit to Turkey and SRKs Pathan, anything against Hindu ideologies and beliefs will be met with serious criticism.

Whether the movie works at the box office will boil down to it's content. But the public outrage it will receive will be immense.

Bobby Deol's Aashram is receiving such treatment. Imagine what would happen to Hrithik.

That's why not excited for this. Hope HR realises what the mood of the public is.
