Om Shanti Om had the highest single day record and top weekend that year, would have been the record opener if released after Diwali day even in clash with hyped Saawariya.

I am not taking very big way when i talk about record opener. Because if screen count and ATP increase than obviously record opener there. Take a look in 2005 max screen count movie 600 screen release and just one year screen count reach 1100 screen and ATP also increase 15% at that same year so obviously 4 record opener at the same year.
