AGRA: In what is indicative of the height of negligence in the education system of UP, Agra University released a marksheet of a first-year BA student with Bollywood actor Salman Khan's photo.
This comes barely a fortnight before President of India Ram Nath Kovind is expected to be part of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Agra University's convocation to distribute medals and certificate to students.
The marksheet with the roll number 17028700*****, a copy of which has been obtained by TOI, has a passport-sized photo of Salman Khan pasted on it, while the card bears the name of a student who scored aggregate 35% in BA first year in Amrata Singh Memorial Degree College, Tejpur Java, Aligarh which is affiliated to Agra University.
The discrepancy came into notice when university officials were cross-checking the marksheets before releasing it to students.
Sources from the university administration, who found this major discrepancy in the marksheet, claimed that another marksheet had Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi's picture on it. "There were scores of other marksheets as well, in which student's names were wrongly printed as Bhimrao Ambedkar instead of their original name on the marksheet. Chances of such kind of mistakes are more at the private agency level, who was hired for printing marksheet," said a university source.

Public relation officer G S Sharma of university denied of any such discrepancy and said, "We have not received any complaint from anyone in this regard."
