Bajrangi Bhaijaan may have recorded the second highest footfall total since 2000 but overall its a dull year with footfalls set to be around 15% less than last year for Hindi films,.
....

The ten highest footfall achieving films of 2015 are as follows-
[1] Bajrangi Bhaijaan - 3.55 crore
[2] Tanu Weds Manu Returns - 1.50 crore
[3] ABCD 2 - 1.21 crore
[4] Gabbar Is Back - 1.06 crore
[5] Baby - 90 lakhs
[6] Brother - 83 lakhs
[7] Singh Is Bling - 81 lakhs (3 weeks)
[8] Piku - 76 lakhs
[9] Drishyam - 72 lakhs
[10] Dil Dhadakne Do - 70 lakhs
.....

Only four films so far have had 1 crore tickets sold this year and all four Akshay Kumar releases are among the top seven but only Gabbar Is Back managed over 1 crore footfalls.
